Topics for Victoria: Finances, Career, Anything Spirit wants me to know nowThe pictures came quite readily and I see a little girl of maybe 7-8 years of age. She is wearing a beautiful pink dress it is 3/4 length and does not come quite to the ground. It is a beautiful quality dress and when you look you know this child is not from a poor family. She is in the dark woods looking for small flowers that look like they have very rubbery leaves and grow close to the ground. The flower also seems pink like the dress. Her hair is a medium brown and almost waist length and quite straight.
The woods are very deep and dark for the time of day and the smell of the dark earth prevails.
I wondered what she was doing there but am told she is feeling very unloved at home and spends hours and hours in the woods just watching and observing in the most reverent of ways. She feels much more at home in the woods than in her own estate home. How, I wonder, does this child slip away unguarded and unaccompanied. In truth no one seems to care where she is as long as she appears for her meals. The attic of her home and the woods seem to occupy her time. She has the most vivid of imaginations but seems fearless. When banned from leaving the house, the attic is her escape. It is there she finds small children to talk with. They appear poor and have patched and mismatched clothes. They are however bright company for her and her mind. The woods seem to want to reveal their secrets as well to her child mind. She sees the austere spirits that zealously guard the trees. She sings small songs to them to sooth their protective spirits. She often brings a small picnic with her that she has hastily wrapped and placed in a small cloth bag. Everyone in the kitchen finds her in their way and no one feels any sense of responsibility towards her even though her parents are away a great deal of the time. The nanny is elderly and seems to need the comfort of many a tipple and no one cares.
This is Sara's lot and this is how she grows up. She does not collect the flowers and never picks any. There are a few in the well tended garden she does pick and takes to the imaginary children in the attic. She does not know she is lonely as this has been her life since almost babyhood. She remembered having a brother who died and then everything changed. Her mother had to go away and then continued to travel joined by her father. No one ever seemed to care about her.
That is how she grew up. A beautiful young women who would rather take notes on her day to day experiences and keep it to herself. Rather not share the magical portion of her world. Then she started to realize that she could also see the future of those she came in contact with. Too shy to relate what she saw.
She met an elderly woman on one of her walks and the lady spoke to her about having a gift and it should be shared. They spent hours walking and talking in those woods. Sarah had no idea how to break thought the wall of silence she had created for herself.
Her parents were as distant as usual. It was the maid who broke though the silence and in encouraging her to share her gifts she gave the maid a piece of news that surprised the maid. She forecast a very soon and a very happy marriage.. Of course it all happened which sent people to seek the girl out in her woods where she felt most comfortable sharing her insight. It was hard to integrate these forecasts into everyday life. She did work very hard at this and she gradually emerged. Never to her family and she found more comfort with strangers than with family.
Her parents were killed in a coaching accident and she was left alone in the house with the maid and a small staff of servants.
She seems to feel comfortable inviting the world in at that point and they came to listen to her. She married eventually to the son of a wealthy land owner and she knew instinctively how to treat her children. One daughter seemed to have inherited her ability.
In a prior life I found her as a simple house wife married to a miner or a man that seemed to work underground. It was also bit of a lonely life but she had children to spend time with and she had cats which also were her constant companions in every chore. She had loved her husband but with his time underground (Not a coal miner). I tried to see what he mined or did underground but could only see him bringing wooden bins filled with rocks to the surface. Seems some compound which was of value which I feel were salt mines. He was not a prisoner but had free will but seemed to spend a great deal of time down there. Wondered if he was the owner. Certainly not a wealthy household. Perhaps it was a family business that he felt driven to make a successful. The equipment seemed quite primitive so the time for that has to be mid 1700 in what I will call the Balkan area.
Seems a bit of a pattern of loneliness there while one was self imposed the other was imposed on her. She was not English speaking in that life.
Another life sees her trying to support her parents as a market vendor who sold shoes and slippers made by herself and her brother and even her mother. Father suffered from dementia and could not work. Marriage eluded her as she had no times for a relationship. The shoes and slippers were taken to market in a wooden push cart which bumped along the unpaved road and hurt her shoulders and arms (Is there residue pain to this day?)
There was no peace or relaxation for her. She had a younger brother and an older brother neither who accepted any family responsibility and although they made the shoes they also demanded their money. The shoes were soft leather which laced just over the ankle. Her hands were a mess from pushing dull needles through the leather. Slippers were softer and more simply laced. She often ached from head to toe and was weary beyond imagination. The reputation for well fit slippers and shoes did create a demand and it was hard to keep enough made at any time. It had been a craft her father had been born into. He had taught his family in an effort to create a better income. He was a tanner as well and something in the treatment of the hides had effected his mind. he could not even carry on a conversation. He looked not unlike he had had a stroke and his speech was honestly gibberish.
The leather was bought from a tanner and not an occupation undertaken by any member of the family. The home had barely more than an earth floor which the mother covered with rushes that kept the home clean and smelling sweet. Once again I do not sense English as the spoken language but perhaps Czech type language. It must have been also in the late 1600's as the surroundings were sparse and nothing in the way of Machinery and everything is quite primitive. Wheels are barely round on her cart.
She eventually married a tanner who eventually followed in the footsteps of her father with an addled mind. Something in the tanning process was almost fatal. She did however produce a wonderful son which she and her husband sent for an education. Was not easy for them but they did manage to remove him from the circle of leather. He became a physician as what was known then with their bottle of leeches and an instrument for bleeding the patient. Some sort of blue stuff which they used as their main medicine. He excelled in herbal treatments and water treatment (Have no idea what that would be). Looked like a huge tub in which floated all sorts of ground herbs.
Hope this works for you and you can find some relationship to today's life.
Quite interesting in your path to today. Love Victoria
