When I was 10 years old my brother who was 12 yrs old was in an accident. He was mowing the grass around our house with a push mower and ran over a piece of wire. It snapped a piece off and sent it into his body at the speed of a 38 hand gun-straight to the heart. This was my first encounter with spirits. He was standing at the back door, he was able to get out that he'd been hurt before collapsing on the floor. Mama recognized shock and went to making calls. Calling my daddy and granny to get to her asap.

There was no blood not a scratch, that I could see. I was sitting with him, really not scared more wondering if God had sent these angels that were around us to get him, or to protect him. Because there they were in golden highlights they were on the ceiling - beyond them was the "light" there for only the moments of peace. They were gone once Mama was back. Later after the open heart surgery where the doctor told mama and daddy not to hold there breath, and after close to 30 seconds of being dead on the operating table, he came out just fine. Able to tell his story of the person he saw after being hurt. It was our beloved granddaddy dead for seven years, he was there guarding his nakedness, just a darkened image holding out his hand to my brother.

Jason recounted how he felt adrift on a float that he would go in and out of 'sleep" to wake and find granddaddy still there with his hand out to him, each time he was closer to the back door.

This was the first time I encountered spirits. Though I've never experienced anything on the level sence it hasn't been my last. I have Gaurdians and thank God I do and thank God for his ways in sharing his awesome powers through our blessed loved ones.

Getting in Touch With Your Angels

I first became aware of angels as a very small child. The ones I saw then were tiny and flitted around the garden.

I believe that children often see flower fairies, and this explains the origin of many fairy tales. Angels can take any form they want, in order to not frighten children for example, or to effect a rescue.

I have been rescued four times that I know of-and have seen, heard and even smelled angels in different ways (They smell like roses. )

How do you get in touch with your angels? Well, it helps to know a little about what to expect.

What to Expect

In my experience most adults have three angels, one of either gender, with specific functions, and a child angel to help you stay in touch with your joy and self-love..
The specific functions of the adult angels often relate to either life task or relationships, but it could be something more specific. It depends on what is going on at any given time.

For example, when a person first becomes a mother, she will need the extra assistance of an angel for the next twenty years of so, just to deal with all the extra tasks which now devolve upon her. One can always ask for extra help, for a short or long-term task. There
are plenty of extra angels around!

Some angels work with a number of people. For example, Archangel Raphael works with a number of healers.

Most people have a guardian angel who has been with them since before their birth. (On one occasion with a pregnant woman, I became aware of a tiny cherub above her head, hovering near the corner of the bed where she lay. I realized that of course it was her baby's angel.)

How Angels Communicate

Angels may communicate with you by arranging that someone you knew and liked in the past happens to be the policeman who is called to deal with a situation you are involved in, so that you are not frightened but soothed in a difficult situation.

They may be the ones who ensure that three people in one day suggest that you read a certain book. Are you listening? These are some of the ways that angels speak.

But you can get even more specific help. It helps if you meditate about any problem you might have just before you go to sleep. You know that expression "sleep on it?" It is well-known that answers come to you in the night. This is because angels often come to you in dreams with answers to your problems.

How to Contact Them

If you are very quiet and still and banish all thoughts from your mind, you can then ask for help with an issue. If an answer comes to you which seems better than one you might normally come up with-and especially if the voice inside your head sounds a little bit different-then likely you are beginning to listen to that "still small voice" mentioned in the Bible, which encourages you to do the right thing.

One sure-fire test is that the voice or feeling you get should be completely loving and encouraging. Angels love you unconditionally - they are never judgmental or negative.

So go ahead-ask your angels to help you with whatever challenges you may have, every day. It's their job - they love helping-and they love you.
