2005 - AN UNPREDICTABLE YEAR

For the last few newsletters I've gotten an image or phrase that's like a psychic sum-up: in 2003, it was “We learn the hard way” ( by going to war in Iraq).
For 2004, it was the image of a California Valley Girl “surveying some difficult to fathom scene, saying in her Valley Girl way, “Oh..My..God!”.
The image for 2005 is fast-moving, silent waters swirling in different directions, uncontrollable - an unstable environment. There is no judgment, no permanence, everything gets a chance to express itself, no matter how extreme. “In the name of balance and justice” are the words I get, it is a violent, creative, intense year.
Just like a person, there's a whole other side to 2005, and that's its luxurious spirit, its propensity for glamour and glitz and fabulous art happenings. People will want to have fun in the sun in 2005, even if there are dead bodies washing up on the shore. To “luxuriate in fullness” is what Nature intends for us - if you're having a terrifically fulfilling time, don't feel guilty, you're in sync with the spirit!
There are so many new creative industries this year, we'll just be getting an idea of how different the world can get.
Peace, and our collective wish for happiness, is like a dream that is trapped and opposed, but it's still at the core of things. Peoples' individual reality is that it is a year for personal rejuvenation and creativity. Patience will be the most needed and valuable virtue in formative 2005, it is a virtue that wins in all matters this year, in business, and love. Possible pitfall of going a long ways down the wrong road : To trust someone or something that doesn't exhibit stable behavior could be your great loss. Pay attention to how someone acts, not what they say - it's possible to go through a grueling experience because in one way or another you weren't paying attention to the signs.In summary, the year brings change and transition, when all kinds of emotional and natural forces are off their leash and free to express themselves. A great time to pursue what you are deeply moved by, excited about, secretly good at, what you want to try. It will be a “waste of time” time to be judging anybody including yourself, it's all going to change anyway. The challenge is to accept people and things they way they are, to not need a certain outcome out in the world, and to make peace in one‘s own heart.
Intuition Lesson for 2005:
What is a “Yes, this is right for me” sensation in 2005? It is not the pulse-racing sensation of taking a risk, the adrenaline high before you jump, it is a sense of peace, and calm, a sense of certainty. I wouldn't take a risk otherwise.
( What if there's something that sounds great, like a promotion or a trip, but that you don't have a good feeling about? What if your intuition gives you information you don't like?
Lesson Number One:
What you want, and what your intuition has to tell you, are often two different things. If you get an inner directive, a knowing, a voice or a feeling with a message that may not be what you have been expecting, do not try to make your intuition back down from what it just told you, or try to deny it. Don't start thinking what a terrible person you are for having such a thought. It's like bullying your eyes for what they saw, or getting angry at your nerves for feeling. Your intuition is always right the first time. It'll be harder to get your intuition to tell you the truth if you try and twist the message to one you like. In this year capable of quick change and surprise, have a little conversation with yourself and welcome the Instant Knower Within to tell you whatever it thinks is important for your well-being, assure it that you're always willing to take its call.)
What's New in 2005 -The Underground Development of New Industries and New Movements
To tune into 2005 is to pick up on brand new sensations, perceptions, feelings, alternatives, new songs and rhythms; and that a significant industry is being born based on new creativity and new perceptions.Also in gestation is a new social movement that seems to surface in 2006. The channeling about it is:
“Many many new ideas and inspirations and perspectives come into 2005 like slithering snakes from the East, and they stay underground for a year, and they feed off what choices people make, the direction of things, and then, manifest as a very strong phenomenon, full-blown, in April of 2006. “
Another related message is: “It is a strong and original human expression, an innovation is in the wings, we are really on the road to a new community. It is a long, indiscernible at first, road. And our willingness to appreciate life, rather than deny life, is what guides it.”
1. Artistic energy is powerful and expressive. If you ever wanted to see how artistic you can get, this is the year to make the changes and arrange your life so you can try it. If you really want to forge ahead creatively, you will be making sacrifices so that you can explore your talents and inner resources, such as: do not let much in from the world: be impermeable. Pay attention to your own visions - don't listen to gossip and news. Now it's best to do, and try to materialize, whatever you care about no matter what the outcome, whether it's good at first or not, whether you get to finish it or not.
2. We are ruled by an oligarchy, and in the world it rules, there is a lot of agony and excess, with people acting out in orgiastic ways. Now there are “Oliphants”, someone who's like a sycophant for the oligarchy, a “yes man“; it's a new kind of pose people take to make themselves feel superior. The college students who recently sued their professors for stating anti-American liberal views come to mind.
3. “Emissary of Light” type beings from outer space, some form of higher consciousness, are on the horizon.
Something being celebrated over in Saudi Arabia, Egypt - maybe they are making oodles of money. In the U.S. especially, this is a planting and gestating year, both ideas and organizations are growing underground.
My stones first formed a big “question mark” to stress the “surprise“ element of the year.A lot of new skills and talents and creative industries are a part of the scene this year, but everything really needs to be perfected, and there's more technical expertise available to do that. It's so much more important to do , to start, to try, than to be perfect at something - people will have to give their all to their work, knowing it will fall short of the eventual mark.There are a lot of hidden agendas and hidden feelings that surface this year. There's a tremendous purging of karmic, ethnic relationships and connections, and a lot comes to light. Horrible truths come screaming out.New alliances are formed. Compassion and nurturing tendencies come out in the collective. Older cultures are more valued this year. But what is still grasped too tightly is the past, there's no room for all the groups there used to be.
There are many elephants in the living room this year, such as the U.S.A. being in many places they don't belong, the potential for craziness in North Korea, the rolling back of American civil liberties and environmental protection by the Power Elite. But it's such an uncontrollable year, it's like everyone's waiting to see what happens.
Playing the role of enforcer is a losing one this year. If the USA can't manifest success by 2005, they should give it up - there's only this year's worth of money to put into Iraq and then it will cause huge financial problems to continue. To assume responsibility for more than we can handle causes great sacrifice, and “progress” now comes at a great loss. Men worldwide might be sacrificing themselves for eight more years.
May you have peace in your heart in 2005...it will be the island in a sea of change. Below are specific suggestions for cultivating peace within.
Read your Sun, Moon, and Rising Sign
Air (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius): It is likely that the road to power now involves delays and adjustments and changes. It is still being identified as “the road to power” so do not mourn what is lost or lagging or changing, you will like where it leads to..it looks as if a lasting foundation is being built, a substantial gain is being built. Strategy Poem for a Happy Year: “ Walk away, walk away! from whatever is not gay. There's a better place to spend the day!”
The Spirits say, "Get more education!" Take workshops, classes, seek out masters. Let the chips fall where they may, be kind of tough and stick to your guns about important , probably hard decisions. You find that you take responsibility for yourself like never before, and realize how freeing this is. Poem From the Sky Beings, about your luck: “We heard you! You think you're being ignored..we're watching for a better sword. A new idea to cut through what was acceptable to the old you -but no longer, you're stronger!"
Water (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) No matter how far you are from a present goal in time, or scope, you are asked to trust in the direction that you want to go, and just continue to work. Keep on experimenting, do not need feedback at this point about how you're doing, just continue to work on what you find interesting and valuable. When it comes to opportunities that presents themselves this year, act fast, and if it doesn‘t yield right away, move on. It is now time to “move on”, to get on with it, to anticipate the future with no thought for the past. You attract much spiritual help, new people, even obstacles, that come in response to your determination to open to love…did you not want to know yourself? At year's end you are a more loving and compassionate person.
Earth (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn): There are negotiations to work out no matter what advances you make and no matter what position you are already in: where you're going requires a lot of courage and trust and working things out - it's relatively experimental -but this is the year that you form good partnerships and partnerships that can last or be built on, and a more powerful life follows. April of 2006 might be quite a launching point for you. Do not be so concerned this year about the material world: be concerned about spiritual riches and how loving you are. If you know you're right about something, just keep at it in a balanced way, in a persistent, consistent way - do not push - get more and more coherent about what you feel strongly about. Fire (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius): This is a “follow your own muse” year - you've done some heavy lifting in terms of getting things organized in 2004, and 2005 is more about being creative. To be creative, all you have to do is “show up” - it's as if the spirits of creativity want to manifest, they want to come through… just make time for them. Good things are in the North for fire signs this year. There are a lot of rushed deadlines..you may have signed up for too much stuff - be careful not to overwork things or over-commit yourself. It is really hard to pay attention to your goals and other people's. If you do too much with other people, you tend to not pay enough attention to your own body and what it needs, which is more attention than it got last year. In general, pay attention to what you find interesting, contribute what you want to, analysis is not needed so much this year, only following your own interests. Try things on for size, go places, expand your territory in fun and interesting ways. Travel is beneficial.
READ YOUR SUN, MOON, AND RISING SIGN
ARIES: I have two different messages for you, take your pick! #1 (channeled in Mexico this Christmas): Here is the ram. He is the animal most tempestuous, without patience. But to get something that he wants this year, he needs to have a lot of patience: with himself, with his self of the past, that is changing profoundly. “Do you think you are just going to stay the same? “ say the Spirits, “ You have too much energy for that. Another thing: your house - it has a lot of value, and even more value in the fall. (A message for Aries selling real estate?) #2: The world takes you by the hand when you're least expecting it, and leads you to something new. There's a strong sense of wanting to conquer new worlds, have new experiences, start over, get aligned with your heart. Something puts you into what feels like a different world, either your circumstances change, your perspective changes, and it is an entry point for your high self, a time when you came make an evolutionary leap in faith. You develop love and trust in yourself in 2005.
TAURUS: It may not seem like it, but financially, you end up in a comfortable and good place - you figure out how to overcome financial ups and downs, and you're satisfied with the rights that are wronged in all areas that have to do with finance and order. You can make a lot of progress beautifying and simplifying and strengthening your operations and systems - it's a problem solving year.
GEMINI: You're still back and forth alot from your home, still trying to decide what to do - you could focus on this or on that ..which will it be? You get an opportunity in February to try one of them in a big way. Where are you going to do what? Wonderful possibilities present themselves, how do you decide? Don't try to this year, just notice what you like! Develop a unique lifestyle, test the waters, don't commit to a single path.
CANCER: You might have to deal with some conflict in new environments. Do not let conflict make you shy away from trying new things and launching yourself in new directions. You tend to do your best this year, even if confusion reigns. When you stand back from this year, you'll see that things are basically good, it's just that progress puts you in a path of conflict.
LEO: This is a very significant foundation-building year. You develop whatever makes your future success possible. There is a flow and a strengthening of your talents and inner resources. You have greater self-mastery and are more at ease in the world. 2005 puts you on the brink of a doorway, prepared for success, and ready for it now.
VIRGO: Potentially a successful, productive, fruitful year, if you keep busy on your own behalf. This is a year to act, to do what is obviously beneficial, and not to analyze, just go with what seems to be successful or winning. Virgos can hit the jackpot by going away..you might be lured to far away places for money and new opportunities. Be willing to go to foreign countries, be willing to have big adventures. Let your eyes be dazzled, go for the most exciting possibility.
LIBRA: If you're involved in a romantic relationship, it can be a very good year for intimacy as you go deeper in your ability to feel and receive love. If you are not romantically involved, you make a very strong commitment to your creative interest and focus, or something that is really meaningful to you, and you really give yourself to it. This is a wonderful year, particularly July and November..there are lots of bright moments in your year. This is also the time to act on principle and stick to principles, and to choose yourself first.
SCORPIO: A healing image I got for you is that you slit open your own stomach and let out all those alienated figures from the past, just let them all go out, like ants tumbling out of you. It looks good to rest in April or May, then you'll be ready in November to charge ahead with your life. You will not get any further along by rushing yourself. Scorpios see change at last, they are so happy about the revelations and insights and change that 2005 brings. That's the wonderful way things end up!
SAGITTARIUS: You work unusually hard and react quickly to the opportunities to succeed you have this year. Whatever it is you really want to do and believe in, full force ahead, there's no reason to doubt your course, which in some cases unfolds over many years. Be bold, act quickly, and be consistent. There is a “teeter-totter” quality to the year, like you are teetering on the edge of an expansion that you more easily totter into in 2006.
CAPRICORN: You fairly bristle with creativity this year. Aside from that, what stands out about your year is that you are choosing freedom. The next step on the way up could seem to be leaving what you've built up. But it is the correct step, to choose freedom: it allows for greater success and in new areas that are important to you. AQUARIUS: A change of circumstances has you worried, yet it is something that you think you're way through. There is a frustration to this year. There's something out of sync, or on hold, or indecisive. You have to look at everything fresh. What are you inspired to do right around you, what makes you feel healthy and alive? This could be a ground-breaking year if you don't push an agenda that does not roll along by itself. It's a year to get revitalized and do things you want to do. New Message: (An important message for your year was not revealed to me until after I posted this 2005 newsletter, so I'm adding it a week later.. it got obscured by the louder, heavier first message about "handling change" that dominated the airwaves. So, here's what feels like another significant feature of the year:) 2005 is about something that is fatefully yours to do or receive, and it makes you walk through a door, it puts you in another world. Also, what is the rewarded work, the right work for you, is obvious, and successfully brought into being.
PISCES: A year of positive changes - many more than last year. You will be inspired and energized and motivated by what it looks like you can do. You're making better choices for yourself. You can get backing for things, you are put in a position of authority that you find creative. Make time for what's important, forget the rest.
