About Global Psychics
Mary-Anne Alvaro
Mary-Anne is now retired from her role as Global Psychics' Customer Services co-ordinator... A powerful psychic who prefers to call herself "a reader", she once set the pace and the standard for the rest of the Global Psychics Team. Now she is busy with a small products distributorship and still takes personal appointments from her home in Barrie. Here's a short bio.
Hello Everyone:
I am writing this brief announcement to let you all know that as of September 20-25, 2004, I will be taking on another venture. This will reduce my availability for readings, especially over the telephone. I am not leaving the company and will still be here although my day to day involvement will be much reduced. It is a necessary strategic withdrawal for many many reasons, which will ultimately help set the company and myself up in a stronger position.
I have loved working with all of you and again will continue to support Global Psychics albeit with reduced availability. This is a decision I have made in conjunction with Danielle and relative to my personal circumstances as well as growth plans for the company.
I have loved every minute of my day to day life here and will continue to participate in the overall operation of Global Psychics. Administrative duties will be restructured and there should be no effect on servicing you, our wonderful clients. To reach me or request me, simply call our toll free number (1-888-509-9999) and leave a message or email and I will respond. Appointments can be made for evenings. Otherwise, all of our wonderful team will be here to fill your requirements and answer your queries.
Thank you all and lots of love to everyone. Mary-Anne
Once Upon a Time....
Mary-Anne Alvaro was Mary-Anne Nekrashewicz, daughter of Elsie and Archie, elder sister to Vera. They lived first in Toronto, then in Oakville, then back to Toronto, always close to Baba and a large extended first generation Belorussian/Ukrainian family. Her father had escaped the horrors of the Second World War, fleeing separately and alone from Belarus through Germany, the UK, Scotland and on to Canada. They imbued in her a deep appreciation for freedom and independence and also for family. Her father was the first
to introduce her to the prophecies. Garrulous, curious, loving, always ready for a good conversation, Archie taught Mary-Anne to think for herself, and to explore the world with tenderness and joy.
When she left home, she didn't go far... after a few years of relative independence, she took a small apartment over the family church and there she still lived when she married Daryl in 1994, in the same church in which she had been baptized. Mary-Anne's roots are important to her. She still speaks Belorussian, Baba now lives just down the road, and she lives
in Barrie minutes away from Mom and sister Vera, and next door to Tony, the son of the priest who christened and married her. And if you want a good Ukrainian feast, just drop in on Elsie, Mary-Anne's mom, on any of the traditional holidays. You're sure to find a house full of warm company and a table laden with some of the best Ukrainian goodies you'll find anywhere.
Mary-Anne (affectionately known as Mare) started out her adult life the way most Canadians do, she got a job, "went corporate", working as a production scheduler in the manufacturing business. Her favourite story of those days
reflects the person she was to become a decade or so later... she could forecast annual demand and production almost dead-on, every time. An impressive feat for even the best production managers... That was just an early example of Mare's uncanny ability to meld science with art to produce
an amazingly accurate "reading".
A bout with mono in her late 20's put her in touch with the fact that she was bored and burned out on her 9-5 job, she wanted out. When she recovered, she headed off in a new direction, into the entertainment business, production supervisor on a film crew, and then later in the music biz. That's about when Danielle, her partner in Global Psychics Inc., caught up with her, and also when she met her husband Daryl. Through a
series of supposedly unrelated circumstances, one bright day she awoke with a partner in life, a partner in work, no job, but a career to develop.
An Astrologer, Naturally
Astrology was a natural for Mary-Anne. She was drawn to the study of it from her early teens. Astrology intrigued her scientific, mathematical mind and seemed to answer so many of her questions about life and the meaning of it all. She was a dedicated and deep student and by the time she was in her
early 30's, had also developed the counseling skills and compassion necessary to deliver a professional and exceptionally accurate reading.
That fateful January day on which her life was turned upside down, she was pushed, for the first time, into considering a full-time career doing the work she most loved. She and her new working partner, Danielle, began planning their individual private practices, and with the help of friends like Diana Bell and Rosalie Ricupiti, they soon found themselves with thriving private practices.
One thing naturally led to another until the two partners found themselves at the helm of a rapidly growing web-based business.
(After 6 hectic years. Mary-Anne decided that she needed some new challenges, the psychic work had burned her out, and so she moved on to her own business, although she is still in the background of the company.}

Mary-Anne, On Making Predictions
Mary-Anne took a moment out of her busy schedule to talk about the business of making predictions.....
"Interesting - we do create our own futures - our own realities - psychics know that. It all originates in a thought. What psychics read, relative to the concept of "prediction" is energy already in motion - probabilities.
There are two relevant factors in making predictions. One is energy set into motion - choices/decisions already made and the ability to read how that energy is/will manifest itself. The other is the concept of fate/destiny. I believe that fate/destiny is simply certain choices the soul made before it incarnated here - certain important choices that the soul itself has decided will be made manifest in this earthly incarnation.
But, one has to know a soul exists, that God, or Source or the All exists and that consciousness - thought, emotion, love and action are the energy fields of life itself and do create the reality we experience.
Time and space are just fields we play in. I don't understand why it is so hard to believe in timelessness, that the energy that really counts in life, that is the inspiration behind the thought, that is love and life itself exists in a far broader spectrum that just time and space.
Therefore, I don't see why it is so difficult to believe that one can look into timelessness and see something there.
One just has to realize that the physical is the manifestation of thought and emotional energy in motion and it doesn't come first. We are the creators, the originators of physical creation.
It strikes me that many folks don't really know what psychics do. The issue of psychics making "end times" predictions are back to my first point - energy already in motion - probabilities based on choices already made. Can we not see how mankind's' choices, how what we choose to value and live by is serving to create the conflicted, destructive manifestations on this planet? Weather included. Are these "prophecies/predictions" not proving true? Why is it hard to believe that we all have the ability to look "into the window" and see the outcomes of our choices. Step out of the box that believes only what the physical senses can perceive. It's far too limited an outlook and doesn't prove nor can it explain any of the things in life that are truly important anyway.
Love, joy, hope, perspective, faith, the thing that makes the "I" of any individual - none of these things are scientifically provable. Does that mean they don't exist? Where's emotion?
It seems that every really important scientist has been rejected by whatever the current scientific view at the time of their inspiration. An inspiration received from somewhere other than science. What that says to us is that maybe, just maybe, "you don't know everything."
